For ‘Big Bang’s’ Sheldon, the nerd is the word
Wed Oct 28, 2009
This show is freakin hilarious. All time favorite episode was last year's Christmas one. The last five minutes of that episode were some of the funniest things I have ever seen.

And you know this how? Did you go around with a survey asking people or are you just pulling this out of the air because everyone says it is so? The Friday sales were better than last year. MSNBC only chose to run this story after Saturday was tempered.

Yeah, I heard sales were up 3% over last year for Friday. MSNBC didn't run a big story on that - they just put a tiny story in the news section. Then they waited for Saturday for the sa;es to draw even with last year and they plaster a giant story on the top of the page. This crap is hilarious.

Is the AP trying to commit suicide? I just don't get it. I have been reading these ridiculous stories now for several weeks and I just don't get it. I imagine the reporters talking something like this:

Bradlinsky - this is how we have been evolving. We haven't just sat around and let stuff fall in our heads. We did experiments to test our ideas. This is no different. It is not like we were doing one thing and then bam, we are doing something different now.

Stop saying crazy things. No serious scientist thought this. They understoof how nuclear reactions worked. It was the same wackoes that don't know what they are talking about now which spread those lies. Not one scientist working on the Manhattan project thought this was possible. Just ridiculous.

This is a great way to spend that money. Billions are already going towards the things you mention. We also need to fund basic research so new technologies can be invented. These scientists work on the base and then other use that base to invent new things.

Your comment is funny for several reasons. 1) This is not an American project. It is European and they funded it. Good try though. 2) Accelerators actually are involved in things such as curing cancer.

They will not find nothing. Science is not like a giant Easter egg hunt. The experiments will tell us things about our Universe that we had no clue about before. This could come from things we find AS WELL AS things we don't find.
